For over a century, Ferguson Plarre Bakehouse has been creating food for people to fall in love with. Our brands exist to make people smile and we delight in serving up little moments of joy for all the family. Our bakehouse is growing, and we now have opportunities for Bakery Team Members to join our team of pie-loving individuals in Keilor Park, VIC and be part of baking history.
What You're Going To Bake
In this role, you will produce a wide variety of baked goods including pies and celebration cakes, while utilising a range of skills from running high speed processing equipment to manual handling ingredients and finished product.

You will be working with a friendly team that is incredibly welcoming and passionate about everything baking.
How You Will Rise To The Occasion
Core duties
* Produce a range of pastry and cake products utilising your process experience.
* Safe operation of machinery and production line equipment (full training provided).
* Ensure production targets are met (bake it till you make it) whilst ensuring HACCP quality and safety adherence at all times.
* Minimize waste.
* Manual handling. - ability to lift up to 25kg.
Importantly, you will follow health and safety standards while ensuring that your workstation is clean and maintained at all times.

* Punctuality and reliability.
* A dollop of teamwork and collaboration.
* Sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and Quality
* Willingness to learn.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced food environment (food manufacturer, plant bakery or industrial kitchen) is highly regarded. Pastrycook / Pasty Chef Trade qualifications or similar desirable, but not essential.
