As a Senior Product Experience Designer, you will be leading the end-to-end product experience servicing a complex and highly visible domain.
Key responsibilities:
1. Design elegant, user-friendly software to transform the construction industry into a more efficient, lean, and green.
2. Work closely with users, PX team colleagues and Construction Industry experts in the broader team to identify core pains and goals.
3. Build designs and artefacts that help solve identified problems, which will be validated and iterated quickly based on user feedback.
4. Communicate your research, explorations, and conclusions to your team and others across the organisation.
5. Collaborate with the engineers and product managers to deliver elegant solutions to our customers while balancing the need for quality and consistency against business and technical needs.

The global Construction and Engineering PX team, partnered with the global Energy & Water team (which you’ll be a part of), comprises 40+ designers based in the US, Europe, Australia, and India. We support whichever works best for you, whether remote or Australian PX team is a diverse and tight-knit bunch that has each other’s best interests at heart. We meet at least once a week to share and get feedback on our designs, and we also meet in person for team lunches and events.
What will your day look like
On any given day, you’ll be working with colleagues and customers from all over the world. You may discuss a design pattern with a PX team member in the US, liaising with engineers in Australia or India, or conduct a research interview with a user in Europe or the Middle day you’ll be spending time collaborating with your agile scrum team made up of Project Managers, Engineers and QAs.
What you’ll bring
6. At least 4-5 years working in a professional UX design role, creating low to high-fidelity designs to communicate concepts, flows and patterns to delivery teams and stakeholders
7. Proven track record of working on released products
8. Experience with planning, conducting and synthesising user research (interviews, usability testing)
9. Experience with Figma, Sketch or other design tools
10. Ability to present and defend design decisions
Desirable
11. Experience working in an agile environment
12. Enterprise/SAAS product experience
13. Experience working on products servicing the Construction Industry
14. Background in Architecture or Construction design related industries
15. Working with 3D modelling tools
