Rental Operations Assistant/Detailer Job Description
Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Rental Operations Assistant/Detailer to help maintain our fleet and ensure smooth operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and possess skills in carrying out 10-point asset safety checks. They will be responsible for ensuring assets shine and are ready for hire in a timely manner, handling minor repairs on vehicles and trailers, managing vehicle collection and delivery, and staying informed about all asset classes and equipment specifications across the ORIX Rental and Mobility fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in all branch activities to keep things running efficiently.
2. Ensure assets are thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and prepared for hire in a timely manner.
3. Handle minor repairs on vehicles and trailers, including changing mudflaps, fixing lights, and replacing bulbs.
4. Manage vehicle collection and delivery, ensuring yard presentation is always on point.
5. Stay informed about all asset classes and equipment specifications across the fleet.
6. Take action on branch activities, focusing on operational best practices, customer experience, risk management, and business growth.
