About the role
Kaefer Integrated Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Scaffold Supervisor for a 6 week project based in the Pilbara Region. POH will be Perth only and offered on an 8:6 roster.
The successful candidate must hold an S26 supervisor certificate to be considered for the role.
As a Scaffold Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding structures on site.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinate and supervise a team of scaffold erectors, ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety standards
* Interpret and implement scaffolding design plans, managing the installation and dismantling of scaffolding structures
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor scaffold integrity and compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
* Provide on-site training and guidance to scaffold erectors, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure scaffolding solutions meet the needs of the construction project
* Maintain detailed records of scaffold inspections, certifications, and any incidents or issues that arise
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of scaffolding procedures and policies
What we're looking for
* Demonstrated experience as a Scaffold Supervisor preferably within the maintenance and construction industry
* Thorough understanding of scaffolding design, installation, and safety regulations, with the ability to interpret and implement scaffolding plans
* Proven experience in leading and motivating a team of scaffold erectors, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in the use of scaffolding equipment and tools, with the ability to identify and address any issues or defects
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
* HRWL - SA
* Working at Heights
* First Aid - desirable
* CSE and GTA desirable
* S26 Supervisor Certificate is a MUST
