About the role
A Casual Position with a 3-month probation period initially, with the potential of an ongoing Full-time opportunity for the right candidate..
A generous remuneration package based on experience and performance will be offered, with all tools of the trade to be provided.
Your day to day role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
* Assisting with excavation machinery.
* Paving preparation, laying and repairs.
* Landscaping skills including; Planting, Irrigation, Laying turf, Spreading of soil and mulch.
* Retaining wall construction.
* Concrete preparation.
* Storm water installation.
* Fencing.
* Hand excavations, Wheelbarrow carting, and the general preparation of sites.
Your qualifications, experience and attributes.
* You have at least 2 years of recent Landscape Construction experience.
* You are a team player and great communicator who demonstrates initiative, and a strong work ethic.
* You take pride in completing your work to a consistent and very high standard.
* You are able to work diligently and meet project deadlines while un-supervised.
* You must be physically strong and fit.
* You are available to work Monday to Friday (some Saturday work may be required).
* You hold a current car license and have reliable transportation which allows you to arrive at the depot on time at the start of each work day.
* A willingness to obtain a MR (truck) license.
* You have or are willing to obtain a Police Clearance
