We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the procurement function, you will play a vital role in delivering smart and efficient procurement solutions that support essential services across various government sites.
With your expertise in supply chain management, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to manage procurement activities, ensuring compliance with our Procurement Framework and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and ethical practice.
About the Role
* Execute end-to-end procurement activities, including planning, supplier engagement, RFx management, and contract execution.
* Prepare RFx documentation, chair evaluation panels, and produce purchase recommendations.
* Provide supplier training and guidance, manage award communications, and deliver feedback to unsuccessful bidders.
* Collaborate with the Commercial team to produce purchasing documentation (e.g. Master Services Agreements, Purchase Orders).
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, procurement frameworks, and relevant regulations, while promoting a safety-first culture.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated experience in procurement or sourcing within relevant industries such as facility management, construction, government, or utilities.
* Strong understanding of strategic sourcing, process compliance, and financial principles to evaluate proposals.
* Skilled in SAP Ariba or similar e-procurement tools, with proficiency in MS Office suite.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with high attention to detail and strong report-writing capabilities.
