In this role, you will develop automations to manual steps within our launch flow, debug and resolve technical issues, collaborate with internal teams to improve processes, and help customers integrate with HappyCo’s services. Your work will directly enhance customer satisfaction, accelerate launches, and reduce reliance on core engineering teams, allowing them to focus on product innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop well-structured code to assist customers with seamless integrations into HappyCo’s servicesProvide specialist technical support to customers and properties during launchInvestigate and debug reported issues, offering clear insights to both customers and internal teamsIdentify recurring issues and propose long-term solutions to improve product stabilityProactively manage scope, delivery, and configuration of product changes to ensure smooth rolloutsContribute to product development and rollout strategies, providing feedback to improve processesEnsure launch ticket resolution meets and exceeds service level agreements (SLAs)Required Experience & Skills / Technical Skills:2+ years of experience in a software engineering roleStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly in SaaS or cloud-based environmentsProficiency in coding or scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar) for issue diagnosis and integrationsExperience with APIs, web services, and system integrations to assist customers with product implementationFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and infrastructure conceptsRequired Experience & Skills / Customer-Facing & Problem-Solving Experience:Experience providing direct technical support to customers, troubleshooting software issues, and managing ticket resolutionAbility to analyze trends in customer issues and work with product teams to implement long-term solutionsUnderstanding of SLAs and incident management processes, ensuring timely response to critical customer issuesRequired Experience & Skills / Soft Skills & MindsetStrong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholdersProblem-solving mindset, capable of working under pressure to diagnose and resolve technical issuesA proactive approach to continuous improvement, identifying process enhancements to streamline support and launch operationsCollaboration skills, working closely with product and engineering teams to improve overall customer experiencePreferred Experience & Nice-to-HavesExperience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic)Prior work with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, or software deployment processesExposure to customer onboarding and implementation processes, particularly in a SaaS environmentBackground in working with B2B enterprise customers, especially in property management, real estate tech, or a related industryPrevious experience in working in a global team working across time zonesIf you’re passionate about solving complex technical challenges, working closely with customers, and driving impactful solutions, we’d love to hear from you!Our HappyCo Culture & BenefitsHappyCo strives to build better communities.
