**About your new job**
Leading a small team this is a hands-on role.
- Manage the processing of payroll on a weekly and monthly basis
- approximately 900 employees
- Calculating PAYG, super, and leave entitlements
- Responding to and resolving payroll queries
- Payroll reconciliation and month-end reporting
- Interpreting Awards and EBAs
- Help formalise payroll processes and procedures
- Review systems and implement any improvements if required
- Prepare and process Workers Compensation reports
- Complete statutory reporting for Workcover, ATO & ABS
- Calculate and process termination payments
- Ah-hoc tasks and assistance with ongoing projects
**About You**
To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally have:
- A proven track record in Payroll and leadership of small teams
- Understanding of Payroll systems including time and attendance
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
