About The Role
As a Home Care Support Worker, you will deliver essential services including personal grooming & hygiene assistance, medication reminders, domestic duties (cleaning & laundry), food shopping, menu planning, meal preparation, and mobility assistance within the home and local community. Most importantly, you will provide care and support to your clients, prioritising their well-being at all times.
To be successful as a Home Care Support Worker, you will have:
A positive attitude, active listening skills, and a genuine interest in helping others
Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Home and Community Care, or Bachelor/Diploma of Nursing (or first-year study towards a bachelor’s)
Minimum 3 months paid experience in Aged Care or Community Care
Driver's license and own reliable vehicle with insurance
First Aid and CPR certificates
Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
Full Australian working rights, current Police & Working With Children Checks are required. We can assist with police checks for successful candidates.
