Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail‐oriented team member to manage accurate entry and exit transactions for customer vehicles at the Katoomba Waste Facility, ensuring all data is recorded correctly in the weighbridge system. You will guide customers through site entry conditions and operational processes, as well as identify and resolve any transaction issues as they arise. Strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to problem‐solve in a fast‐paced environment are essential.
Responsibilities
* Accurately record entry and exit transactions for customer vehicles in the weighbridge system.
* Guide customers through site entry conditions and operational processes.
* Identify and resolve transaction issues.
* Handle payments with accuracy and integrity.
* Coordinate vehicle movements to maintain safe, efficient traffic flow.
Qualifications
* Strong customer service skills and confidence using computer systems.
* Calm under pressure, problem‐solving ability, excellent communication.
* Experience in cash handling, traffic control, or waste operations is desirable.
* Focus on safety and accuracy.
Hours of Work
* Thursday: 7:30 am – 4:15 pm (8 h / 45‐minute break)
* Friday: 7:30 am – 4:15 pm (8 h / 45‐minute break)
* Saturday: 9:45 am – 2:15 pm (4.5 h / no break)
* Total: 20.5 h per week / 41 h per fortnight
Remuneration
Base salary commencing at $33,055 gross per annum. Additional:
* Adverse working conditions allowance of $1,599 per annum
* 12 % superannuation
* Performance payment 1 % – 3.5 % annual salary
* Annual award increase
