Job Summary:
Cleaning and Sanitizing Specialist: Meat Department. We are seeking an individual to perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of the meat department, including the meat room, cooler, and supply area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Wash, apply cleaning agents, wipe, and mop all surfaces
* Pressure wash the entire room
* Dismantle equipment
* Wash, rinse, and sanitize removable parts
* Wipe down stationary parts with cleaning agent and spray with pressure washer
* Assist with stocking cases and follow department production procedures and standards for quality and consistency of finished product
* Follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) guidelines for cleaning and sanitation of all equipment
* Complete and comply with 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification, and all safety training required by warehouse and Meat Department
Requirements:
* Food Safety Certification
* Hazardous Materials Training - Module 1 (within 30 days)
* High School Certificate
