We’re looking for a Centre Director who leads from the heart — someone who thrives on connection, supports their team with integrity, and understands the power of quality education in shaping children’s futures.
This is a unique opportunity to join a large, newly-established service located on the NSW side of the ACT border. It’s ideal for a Director ready to take the lead, build strong community connections, and create a truly welcoming environment for families and educators alike.
What’s in it for you:
* Competitive salary of up to $135,000 + super
* Childcare discount to support your own family
* Additional annual bonuses tied to Centre performance
* Uniforms provided – so you’re always ready to lead with confidence
* Be part of fun excursions and local community events that bring learning to life
* Autonomy to lead and grow the centre, backed by a highly supportive operations team
* An opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, families, and your team every single day
What we're looking for:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Centre Director role within Early Childhood Education
* A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (NSW-recognised)
* A current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) and other required certifications (e.g. First Aid, Child Protection, CPR, Anaphylaxis)
* Proven track record in managing a large early learning centre
* Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with families, mentoring educators, and contributing to local marketing efforts
* Solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
* A hands-on, empathetic leader who supports and motivates their team
* Committed to compliance, continuous quality improvement, and team development
What you'll be doing:
* Leading strong team by example — not just from the office, but side-by-side on the floor
* Building positive relationships with families and strengthening the centre’s presence in the community
* Supporting and developing educators to deliver high-quality, play-based programs
* Managing day-to-day operations with a focus on compliance, quality, and care
* Playing an active role in marketing and enrolment strategies to ensure the centre’s continued growth and success
