About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Mechanic to join our dedicated team at Hunter Mechanical in Karratha, WA. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the automotive industry, working alongside experienced mechanics. As an Apprentice Mechanic, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of a variety of vehicles to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
1. Assist with the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of vehicles
2. Assist with routine service tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations and brake inspections
3. Learn how to use a range of tools and equipment to service and repair vehicles
4. Undertake on-the-job training and complete an apprenticeship program
5. Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
1. A strong interest and passion for the automotive industry
2. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
3. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
4. Commitment to completing an apprenticeship program
5. Willingness to learn and develop new skills
6. Valid driver's licence (preferably but not essential)
