Responsibilities
* In this role, you will design, install and commission designated projects for ELGAS Depots and Customers
* You will handle the delivery of projects consistent with ELGAS' national framework
* In addition, research, design, develop and implement Applications, Projects and ELGAS' Safety Management System ensuring compliance with the relevant Statutory and State Legislation
* You will represent ELGAS at relevant regulatory meetings
* Routinely visit ELGAS deports and distribution sites to review status and assess ongoing initiatives
* Furthermore, meet the agreed objectives as outlined in the annual Business Plan and Budget
* As part of an audit team, you will routinely audit ELGAS Depots, Distributors, Major Customer's sites and road tanker and cylinder delivery trucks across the region / country
Qualifications
* You have Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Chemical
* Proven experience in working on technical projects preferably in a similar industry
* You will have understanding of the Work Health and Safety Acts / Legislation / Regulations
* Project management skills and experience
* General understanding of Permit to work/Management of chance systems will be beneficial for this role
* Excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills
* You have the ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Ability to travel local and interstate over several days
