This is a full-time position for an experienced Town Planner responsible for developing client relationships and managing projects to deliver on time and within budget. The role involves working across local and regional projects, focusing on client management, project delivery, legislation analysis, and preparing and lodging applications. You should have strong technical skills, excellent communication, self-motivation, and local knowledge.
The areas you will work across include:
Development of strong client relationships
Project management and team coordination
Preparation of development applications
Planning assessment, investigation, and analysis of Queensland legislation, guidelines, and documentation for various project types
Preparation of tenders, proposals, and submissions
Essential Experience and Attributes:
Tertiary qualification in town planning
Minimum 6 years of industry experience
Local Gold Coast or SEQ planning and development knowledge
Experience with Development Assessment processes under the Planning Act 2016 and relevant legislation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and in a team
