About the Role
To support our growth, we are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager who brings industry expertise and a consultative mindset. This is more than a sales role — you’ll be a strategic advisor, identifying opportunities, guiding clients, and collaborating closely with internal teams to influence packaging development.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries (FMCG, food, personal care, pharma, etc.).
* Drive profitable sales growth through new business acquisition and account expansion
* Cultivate long-term relationships with key clients to increase share of wallet
* Develop a strong understanding of our services and packaging solutions to tailor product strategies
* Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to position our business effectively
* Provide regular reporting, forecasting, and updates to support strategic planning
* Deliver professional proposals and presentations to clients
Experience and Background
* Sales and business development experience, preferably in the plastic packaging industry
* Knowledge of thermoforming and/or blow moulding essential
* Experience with packaging design and manufacturing for industries such as food, beverage, healthcare, personal care, or pharmaceuticals highly desirable
* Previous success in a similar sales role within the FMCG or manufacturing sectors
