Job Title: Registered Nurse –Emerald, Queensland.
Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time.
Practice Information:
This practice is recruiting for a Registered Nurse on a full-time basis. Previous general practice experience is an advantage, but not necessary. They are an expanding practice looking for a dedicated RN to capitalise on an existing patient base. Their practice is currently open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. They are a high-end General Practice based in Emerald, Queensland, with a strong focus on quality patient-centred care. They operate a high nursing staff-to-doctor ratio to ensure they maintain attention to detail and deliver exceptional care. The practice comprises 3 procedure rooms, 5 consulting rooms, a nursing bay, a reception and a waiting room. They undertake skin checks using advanced digital dermoscopy and remove skin cancers using simple closures to advanced skin grafts and flap procedures. They also offer non-surgical skin cancer treatments such as daylight and conventional PDT therapy. They have expanded our skin services to include the Cosmetic Clinic.
Position Description:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
o Triage patients
o Chronic Disease Management/Care Plans and Health Assessments
o Wound Care Management
o Cold chain and Vaccine Management
o Ear syringing
o Maintaining the Recall and Reminder system
o Diagnostic procedures, i.e ECGs & Spirometry
o Assisting in Procedures & Pap Smears Stock control of medical supplies
Qualifications & Experience:
o Current AHPRA registration
o Registered Nurse Qualification
o CPR Certificate desirable
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Willing to assist in administration tasks
o Fluent English
After Hours Requirements: No
Salary Information:
$60,000 - $85,000 per annum.
About Emerald:
Emerald is located in Central Queensland with a population base of about 35,000, including surrounding townships. The town is one hour by flight from Brisbane and is well serviced by Qantas & Virgin Airways. It is three-hours drive east to Rockhampton and four-hours drive west to Longreach.
