Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Rural Products Sales Representative. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires the ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
As a Rural Products Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting our branch's rural products team. You will be responsible for providing logistics support, including the safe receiving and dispatching of stock, while leveraging your expert product knowledge and exceptional customer service skills.
Responsibilities include:
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients by recommending Elders products and services to enhance their business growth.
* Proactively sourcing new business opportunities to meet KPIs and targets.
* Supporting inventory management, including stocktake and safe dispatch of rural products.
* Processing sales transactions and preparing sales quotes for clients.
* Providing a complete delivery service, ensuring timely and efficient distribution of rural products.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Technical knowledge of seasonal and rural products to effectively support clients.
* A proven track record in sales and possession of strong retail skills.
* Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and cultivate relationships with current and prospective clients.
* Valid driver's license and preferably heavy rigid truck license or willingness to obtain one.
* Forklift license is preferred but not essential.
