In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering engineering governance, asset assurance, and technical standards for the Transport for NSW bus fleet, including diesel, hybrid, electric, hydrogen, and emerging propulsion technologies.
This role will see you provide specialist engineering expertise and technical leadership to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of bus assets throughout their lifecycle. You'll contribute to fleet transition, decarbonisation initiatives, and customer experience improvements while collaborating with operators, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders.
You will pioneer improvements in fleet engineering standards and assurance processes in a complex, evolving environment focused on sustainability and innovation.

About you
Your strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, formed across transport
engineering, asset management, and vehicle systems, will see you overcome complex challenges and deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective fleet outcomes. You're recognized as an authoritative technical advisor, skilled at developing standards and managing risk, and experienced in bus fleet engineering, lifecycle asset management, and emerging technologies such as zero-emission vehicles and intelligent fleet systems.
