This individual thrives on the challenges of assortment and range selection, product forecasting, pricing, new product launches,and stakeholder engagement. In a partnership with our Category Management team, the Category Analyst will craft and execute strategies designed to boost sales and propel profit growth in our Optical retail landscape.Requirements for Success:Supporting the implementation of category plans through quality reporting and data analytics.Assisting the development of category analysis and actionable insights that support key category decisions.Supporting the delivery of effective communication to the global and retail network.Monitoring and analysing sales campaign/promotions through post-mortem reporting.Partnering and aligning with cross-functional and external teams to optimise execution through our Omnichannel.Managing day-to-day administrative and operational functions for the wider team.Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, Commerce, Marketing or related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in Category Analyst role, or a similar roleStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracyKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Prior experience in SAP or Power BI would be highly desirableStrong influencing ability and effective stakeholder management.Effective interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication.Project management & organisational skillsOptical experience is advantageous, we can teach you all things optics!Working at EssilorLuxotticaA career with EssilorLuxottica will offer you rewarding experiences and the opportunity to develop your skills every day.
