PR Account Director
The role of a PR Account Director is multifaceted and demanding. Today's leaders in public relations are expected to combine strategy with creativity, lead and nurture teams, and plan PR activations and direct media relations.
As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for managing campaigns from start to finish, collaborating across teams to build a strategy, ideating PR programs, and supervising the rollout of PR programs, content, and activations.
With a strong background in corporate, B2B and/or consumer PR, you will have the ability to transfer your skills to government, technology, and brand clients. Your expertise will be crucial in building relationships with key stakeholders, developing and executing communications strategies, and delivering results-driven PR programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee a small team
* Oversee, grow, and QA key client accounts
* Lead strategic media and client advisory
* PR ideation, activations, and strategy development
* Proposals, tenders, and new business pitches
* Monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Requirements:
* Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a public relations consultancy or an in-house environment
* Experience in communications strategy and client/budget management
* Excellent written and presentation skills
* Relevant tertiary degree
