With multiple locations nationwide, Insignia is recognized as an expert in identification and traceability, working with world-leading brands in thermal printing, barcoding, data capture, marking, and coding.
About the role:
This full-time role offers a challenging, autonomous, and rewarding experience, providing solutions to help customers identify and track their products throughout their supply chain. Located in Knoxfield, Melbourne, you will report to the National Sales Manager - Domino.
As the Business Development Manager - Domino, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing technical sales support via phone and in person across the state to SME and corporate clients.
* Developing and managing alliances/OEM partnerships.
* Contributing to marketing and business strategies.
* Recognizing opportunities and developing business plans.
* Identifying prospective clients while monitoring market conditions and competitors.
* Following through on commitments, meeting deadlines, and owning your actions.
* Responding to customer needs by seeking and acting on feedback.
* Building and maintaining open, trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Preparing and delivering clear, persuasive technical and non-technical proposals, presentations, and pitches.
* Collaborating with project delivery, technical support, and shared service teams.
* Managing product demonstrations and trials.
* Preparing reports on business development activities and opportunities.

About you:
To succeed, you should have:
* At least 2 years of B2B sales experience
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in technical sales/support in packaging, manufacturing, or printing (not essential but advantageous)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
* A valid Australian Driver's Licence and own vehicle
* Flexibility to travel regionally and occasionally interstate
* Availability to attend a minimum of 2 exhibitions per year
