Conduct routine testing and maintenance of CCTV systems.Proactively troubleshoot and manage technical faults in the examination and CCTV systems and liaise with IT support to identify root causes.Provide timely and accurate information, support and advice to the Training Directorate, the wider College community and external stakeholders in matters regarding examinations.Maintain consumable and non-consumable stock for specialised learning environments, which includes obtaining quotes and preparing orders for Manager's approval.Respond to examination and other assessment related issues as they arise by identifying and considering options, implementing solutions and reviewing their efficacy.Provide technical advice to the examination team, examination directors and stakeholders who have hired the examination facility.Coordinate and facilitate assessment design, standard setting, validation and examination marking activities.Coordinate and oversee relevant quality improvement initiatives to ensure the successful delivery of assessment-related projects.Oversee the development, review, and maintenance of business process documentation, policies, and procedures pertaining to examinations to ensure processes are streamlined and effective.Support additional tasks as directed by Operations Manager - ALEC, Head of Examinations and Executive Director, Training.This role requires out of hours work on weekdays and weekends (approximately 12 weekends per year). The College offers overtime and flexible working arrangements at times when out of hours work is required.Skills and Experiences:Ko wai koe | About you - Key Selection CriteriaStrong aptitude and proven experience with ICT systems and software platforms beyond basic office applications.Strong aptitude for rapidly understand and operationalising technical instructions and procedures for ICT and examination management systems.Experience in supporting the development and/or delivery of examinations or simulation education and/or events coordination.Highly developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work and liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders.Strong written communication skills with experience in report writing, stakeholder correspondence as well instruction and procedure manuals.Excellent planning and organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks within strict timeframes.Demonstrated ability to problem solve, with consideration of the associated risks.Demonstrated experience in initiating and implementing quality improvements to address evolving policies and operational requirements.The ability to work without close supervision, as a member of a team; be enthusiastic and self- motivated; contribute ideas and collaborate in their implementation.Demonstrated capability in troubleshooting, diagnosing and managing technical issues within complex ICT environments.Capacity to quickly comprehend and effectively manage technical and ICT-technical to examination delivery.Experience in examination delivery or simulation-based education at the tertiary or postgraduate medical education level highly regarded.Training provided for right candidate with transferable skill setAs an Ideal Candidate you will have:Tertiary or vocational qualifications, or equivalent experience, in Information Communication Technology, health professional education, medical education, education, or simulation training.Ka whiwhi koe i te aha | What you will get in returnWorking at RANZCOG means enjoying a strong sense of purpose and engaging in meaningful work every day.
