Health and Safety Professional Leader
About the Role:
This six-month contract will see you leading health, safety and wellbeing functions. You will shape the strategic direction of the approach to health, safety and wellbeing and be seen internally and externally as a leader in health and safety culture and a technical expert.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and drive the implementation of a health, safety and wellbeing plan as part of a broader people strategy.
* Partner with other business units to ensure alignment of purpose and integrated organisational outcomes.
* Contract with stakeholders to consult on and execute the health, safety and wellbeing plan.
* Work collaboratively with executive leaders to implement a governance framework within the organisation.
* Lead the development and implementation of business relevant systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide leadership in preparation for audits.
* Lead the development and implementation of an organisation specific risk management framework which incorporates all physical and psychological risks associated with our business.
* Provide advice, guidance and support to injury management operations, premium reviews and act as a liaison officer for external agents.
* Provide advice, guidance and support to general insurance and claims operations, conduct regular service reviews and act as a liaison officer for external matters.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have relevant formal qualifications and substantial experience in a similar leadership role managing both workers compensation and injury management.
