Job Title: Poultry Farm Worker
The role of a Poultry Farm Worker involves various responsibilities essential to the egg production process.
* Collect, sort and pack eggs.
* Conduct checks on birds, sheds, yards, feed and water.
* Load and unload eggs on and off pallets.
* Perform basic maintenance and yard work.
* Assist with cleaning and rebuilding sheds as required.
* Participate in the rearing process, including vaccinations if needed.
* Assist with the placement and depopulation of flocks if necessary.
* Available to work a 7am - 3pm or 10am - 6pm shift, 10 days across a 14-day roster.
* A local resident with your own accommodation.
* Capable of adhering to biosecurity, animal welfare and hygiene standards.
* Physically fit and able to lift 12kg and perform manual handling tasks safely.
* Able to follow instructions and procedures clearly.
* Reliable, punctual and maintain a positive attitude toward work.
* A high level of attention to detail.
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
* Possess a current unrestricted driver's license and reliable transport.
