At Coolibah Care, we're looking for a Painter to bring colour, care, and craftsmanship to our facilities. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining a homelike and uplifting environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

What you'll be doing
* Carrying out internal and external painting and decorating to a high standard of finish.
* Preparing surfaces with care – from plaster patching and sanding to setting – ensuring long-lasting results.
* Protecting furniture and property while you work, with minimal disruption to residents.
* Following workplace safety and infection control standards, always using protective equipment and safe work practices.
* Maintaining and caring for tools and materials.
* Working independently and managing your time effectively while keeping quality at the forefront.
* Engaging politely and professionally with residents, families, and colleagues.

What we're looking for
* A trade qualification in painting (with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience).
* Proven track record of high-quality painting and decorating work – with an eye for detail.
* Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and safety practices.
* The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects efficiently.
* Good physical fitness to carry out manual tasks such as moving furniture and ladder use.
* Excellent communication skills and a respectful, consumer-focused approach.
* Current National Police Clearance.
* Up-to-date COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations (highly recommended).
