Job Description
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to lead the configuration and sustainment of Linux based ICT infrastructure.
This includes servers and/or network devices, as well as using automation tools such as Puppet and Ansible to prepare and replicate system builds.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for configuring and sustaining core services for systems including monitoring, syslog or authentication.
About You
* Experience in government environments is essential, ideally within Defence and/or National Intelligence Communities.
* Active TS PV Security Clearance is required.
* Canberra based with regular travel to other locations as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Lead the configuration and sustainment of Linux based ICT infrastructure.
* Use automation tools such as Puppet and Ansible to prepare and replicate system builds.
* Configure and sustain core services for systems including monitoring, syslog or authentication.
* Maintain reliability of ICT infrastructure through configuration automation, upgrading and patching, monitoring, and utilising version control systems.
* Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups in technical and business process terms.
* Maintain accurate technical documentation in accordance with industry standards.
