Internal Sales Engineer
Allied Grain Systems, a part of Mitchells Group, is a leading supplier of grain storage silos and bulk handling equipment across Australia. We are looking for an Internal Sales Engineer to join our team in Young, NSW.
This is an office-based role focused on turning enquiries into sales through prompt follow-up, accurate quoting, and strong customer support. You'll work closely with our external sales team and directly with farmers and contractors to deliver practical grain storage and handling solutions.
What you'll do:
* Respond quickly to leads from phone, email, and the sales team.
* Prepare accurate, timely quotations for silos, augers, and related equipment.
* Follow up on quotes to maximise conversions.
* Liaise with customers to understand needs and provide product guidance.
* Record and manage all leads, opportunities, and quotes in our systems.
What we're looking for:
* Sales or customer service experience (agriculture, engineering, or construction background desirable).
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Ability to understand technical products and processes.
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
