About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic ICT Service Desk team. As the first point of contact for technical support, this team strives to provide exceptional service with a customer centric focus. It operates in a challenging environment with sites across multiple states and a combination of devices and applications which present excellent growth and learning opportunities.
In a newly created, permanent full-time position, you will be the sole Victorian ICT representative, forming part of a national team, servicing both local and interstate staff. It will be primarily based in the inner northern Melbourne suburbs but will require travel to other Workskil sites when needed.
You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9 day fortnight, with a fixed day off every second week, while still receiving the remuneration of a full time employee, including the ability to salary sacrifice.
We’re looking for candidates that have
* At least 1-2 years experience in an IT support role, related study or qualifications will be highly regarded
* The ability to work unsupervised, show initiative and take responsibility for a local area whilst maintaining our national standards and procedures
* Exemplary communication skills and be equally comfortable interacting verbally, in writing or in person
* A patient manner when providing technical support, must be approachable and able to develop a positive rapport with a wide range of internal customers
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
* A general knowledge of mainstream IT systems including Microsoft 365, Windows OS, IT Service Management, Cisco Unified Communications, Apple mobile devices, Meraki networks, Active Directory and general hardware and software deployment
* A current drivers license and willingness to travel, locally and interstate, when required
