Salary: $88,178 – $127,737 per annum (pro rata) (SEA GA 2023).

The Role
The position reports to the Head of Science. The school's leadership intends to review the learning area offerings and consider Certificate programmes from the 2027 school year. The successful applicant will be involved in this renewal process and should be prepared to teach the timetabled programme. Therefore, if not already qualified with a Cert IV in Training and Assessment, training in this and other relevant credentials will be desired.
Given the student cohort, the successful applicant will assist with the school's Wednesday lunchtime soccer programme, which is part of the recess/lunch duty allocation that all teachers complete.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and dedicated teacher of physical education who can collaborate in team environments and demonstrates openness and capacity for learning. The ability to reflect and improve on one's practice as an educator is also highly desirable.
