As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our fleet. This involves conducting daily safety checks, troubleshooting, and diagnosing repairs, as well as performing preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough safety checks and diagnose complex repairs on buses
* Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks to extend vehicle lifespan
* Work with high voltage components and electric mobility fleets
Requirements
* Australian Recognised Mechanic Trade Certificate (essential) or TAFE Cert III Heavy Vehicle Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology qualification
* Desirable: experience in bus maintenance and public transport operations
* Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, particularly electric vehicles
