Rolleston Open Cut is a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine located in the southern Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. With a long life of mine and low operating costs, the mine has a bright outlook. Since 2005, we have grown to become one of the largest surface mines in Australia, whilst continuing to foster a culture underpinned by safety, achievement, flexibility and teamwork to improve the skills of each and every person on the mine site every day. About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (HME)to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the Maintenance team and reporting directly to the Superintendent, you will be responsible for:
* Provide leadership and direction to a team of maintenance trades and step-up supervisors
* Developing and mentoring co-workers.
* Maintain a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
* Provide technical guidance to maintenance activities to provide a high standard.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
* Trade qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical field.
* Previous experience in the industry.
* Proven experience leading teams through high volume maintenance activities.
* Sound working knowledge of SAP and Asset Management systems.
* Completion of Frontline Management qualifications and S1, S2 and G2 training will be highly regarded.
