About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Certificate III qualified individual with prior experience as an Assistant in Nursing or Personal Care Attendant/Assistant to join our clinical teams. As an Assistant in Nursing, you will assist and support senior clinical staff in providing safe and quality patient-centred care under their direction.
* Gathering information about patient care needs through observation and notification to senior clinical staff of identified changes in the health and functional status of patients;
* Undertaking observations and assessments;
* Following the direction and delegation of the appropriate senior clinical staff member;
* Assisting with the patient's personal hygiene, appearance and dietary consumption needs;
* Maintaining a safe, sanitary and secure environment for patients.
We are seeking individuals who possess excellent digital and computer proficiency, extending to Microsoft 365 applications, and are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
About You
To be successful:
* Certificate III qualification in Individual Support or Health Services Assistance or studying towards equivalent or higher qualification;
* Prior comparable experience as an Assistant in Nursing or Personal Care Attendant/Assistant desired;
* Digital and computer proficiency, extending to Microsoft 365 applications.
