We are looking for an energetic, customer focused technician to join our team in Walla Walla (30-minute drive from Albury).
About the role
As a Field Maintenance Technician, you will assist with the operation of Kotzur Maintenance Services (KMS). KMS offers ongoing maintenance support for grain storage and handling systems within the agricultural sector. You will be executing scheduled maintenance programs that minimise downtime during critical periods, as well as breakdown services and site repairs. By undertaking field work and providing comprehensive condition reports on silo and conveyor equipment, you will play an important role in supporting our customers operations.
What you'll be doing
* Bearing inspection and replacement
* Adjustment of belts and chains
* Trouble shooting and repairing of feed auger, conveyors and bucket elevators
* Repairing and replacing chutes
* Minor installation work
* Maintenance inspections on structural and mechanical equipment
* Repairs, including mechanical, welding and fabrication
* Relevant documentation completion and management
* Collaborate within the KMS team to provide excellent client outcomes
What you'll bring
* Trade qualified preferred but not essential - Fitter, Boilermaker, or other Mechanical trade
* Problem solver with a can-do attitude
* Great with clients
* Ability to commit to regular travel requirements, generally involving four nights away from home weekly
* Hands-on experience in mechanical fitting, repairs, and maintenance, ideally with conveyors and screw augers
