About the Role
In this role, you will be an integral part of our site-based teams, responsible for the installation, assembly, and support of commercial HVAC duct systems, including rigid and flexible ductwork, ensuring all work meets Australian Standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Install, assemble and secure rigid and flexible commercial HVAC Ductwork in accordance with Australian Standards, construction drawings, and project specifications.
* Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication of ductwork components.
* Measure, position, and fit duct systems on‐site using hand and battery‐operated tools.
* Ensure all installations are completed safely, accurately and in line with project timelines.
* Work both independently and as part of a team collaboratively with site supervisors, other trades and team members.
* Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements and safe work practices on construction sites at all times.
* Perform installation duties at heights or form elevated work platforms where required.
Skills & Experience – Key Requirements:
* Proven recent experience in commercial HVAC duct installation.
* Minimum 2 years of recent commercial HVAC duct installation experience.
* Ability to install both rigid and flexible ductwork in accordance with Australian Standards, construction drawings, and project specifications.
* Own set of hand and battery‐operated tools.
* Strong work ethic with a "can do" attitude; reliable and punctual.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Construction Industry White Card.
* Current driver's licence with reliable transport, or ability to travel independently to sites.
* Full working rights in Australia.
* Strong understanding of Occupational Health & Safety practices.
* Working at Heights and EWP tickets (preferred but not essential).
