The successful applicant's responsibilities will include assisting with the administration and lifecycle management of Moyne Shire Council's electronic and hardcopy records by ensuring that digitisation and registration activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and practices.
To be successful in this role you will need
Qualifications
Essential
* Current driver licence
* Employee working with children check
* Completion of secondary education (VCE or equivalent) is required
Desirable
* A diploma of recordkeeping or equivalent qualification is desirable; alternatively, demonstrated relevant experience in records management, library or information management roles, with a commitment to undertake further professional development or formal qualifications.
Experience
Essential
* Demonstrated experience in using an electronic document records management system (EDRMS) to capture and manage both electronic and hardcopy records.
Key selection criteria 1
Contemporary records and information management principles and practices, including knowledge of relevant legislation and standards (e.g. Public Records Act 1973, PROV standards)
Key selection criteria 2
Digital literacy and ability to work confidently with digital information systems and Microsoft Office suite
Key selection criteria 3
Previous experience in records management, library or information management roles
