Rehabilitation Consultant Job
We are seeking a talented Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals as a Rehabilitation Consultant. If you're passionate about making a real difference in people's lives and providing excellent customer care, this role is for you.
Job Description
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for assessing clients' needs and developing effective rehabilitation plans. You will work closely with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
You will design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity. Your expertise will help identify barriers and develop programs that support clients to achieve maximal work participation.
In addition, you will empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals by understanding various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Registration as an Occupational Therapist
* Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways
* Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
* Commitment to a high level of customer service to clients and customers
* Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
