A bit about your role
The Service Availability Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, resilience, and partner satisfaction across nbn's interfacing platform services. This role supports the delivery of key business transactions and ensures alignment with Wholesale Broadband Agreement (WBA) obligations and other commercial contracts. By coordinating program delivery and management initiatives, the role contributes to the success of nbn's Customer Delivery teams, Residential and Business Partners, and Field Services network.
This position oversees service governance, monitors performance, and leads service improvement initiatives. It plays a key role in managing escalations, coordinating defect triage, and ensuring service continuity. The role also supports project and program delivery, partner advocacy, and governance activities, while maintaining high standards of communication and performance reporting across the organisation.
