We're looking for an experienced Bids Executive to join our APAC Business Development team, based in either Melbourne or Sydney. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with hybrid work arrangements.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a strategic, fast-paced environment, managing and supporting end-to-end bid and tender processes. You'll play a key role in helping the firm secure high-value work across priority business areas.
Working closely with the APAC Bid Manager based in Sydney, you'll oversee the entire bid life-cycle - from opportunity assessment and document preparation to final submission. You'll also collaborate with the wider APAC Business Development and Marketing (BD&M) team and Lead Bid Partners across the region.
Responsibilities
Reviewing and interpreting tender documents, identifying key requirements and timelines
Coordinating with partners, associates, and internal stakeholders to compile content
Using business development systems to efficiently source and collate relevant materials
Maintaining and enhancing pre-written content, templates, and guides to provide our automated content resources
Producing bid activity reports, tracking submissions, and updating bid databases
Assisting senior team members in creating materials for client presentations
What We're Looking For
2+ years in a similar bid or tender coordination role within legal or professional services
A genuine team player who contributes enthusiastically
Exceptional business writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Meticulous accuracy in all aspects of work
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage conflicting deadlines effectively
Skilled at earning trust and respect from stakeholders
If you have Mandarin written capability this is advantageous. Our Australian offices work in close collaboration on opportunities with Hong Kong and Mainland China.
