About The Role
Ventia is proud to play a key role in the Victorian transport infrastructure sector. We are providing an opportunity to be part of a highly functional team, building operational solutions. Ventia's Transport Infrastructure Solutions business is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join the team. The Safety Advisor supports the safe delivery of road maintenance and construction activities by providing practical advice, assurance and on‐site support to operational teams. The role plays a hands‐on part in promoting a strong safety culture.
This is a permanent full‐time position and will be based out of our Wendouree office.
Role Responsibilities
* Provide safety advice and guidance to operational teams
* Conduct site inspections, audits and observations
* Support incident investigations and corrective actions
* Promote positive safety culture and continuous improvement
About You
* Experience in safety advisory roles within construction or infrastructure environments
* Strong understanding of safety systems and legislation
* Relevant safety qualifications
* White Card and current driver's licence
* Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel
