Are you a passionate and experienced early childhood leader ready to take the next step? Busy Bees on Furlong Road is seeking a confident and dedicated Centre Director to lead our 75-place service in Queanbeyan, NSW.
You’ll be supported by a trusted Area Director, an experienced team of educators, and a national network that prioritises quality, leadership development, and meaningful connections with families.
About the Role
As Centre Director, you will:
* Oversee daily operations, compliance, staffing, and service quality
* Lead, inspire, and support your team to deliver high-quality programs aligned with EYLF and NQS
* Build strong relationships with families, staff, and the local community
* Drive continuous improvement through critical reflection and collaboration
* Ensure all practices align with ACECQA standards and Busy Bees policies
* Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive team culture
What You’ll Need
* Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
* Centre leadership experience in an Early Learning setting
* Current WWCC (NSW) and valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
* Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting training
* Excellent knowledge of the NQS, EYLF, and regulatory requirements
* Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
* A passion for leading services that make a meaningful impact
Above-Award salary: $43.99 – $49.43 per hour (negotiable)
