Senior Quality Care Manager
Residential Aged Care
A leading aged care provider is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Care Manager to support and strengthen quality, governance and continuous improvement outcomes across a portfolio of Residential Aged Care homes.
This is a senior leadership opportunity suited to an experienced aged care professional with strong people management capability, extensive quality and compliance experience and a solid clinical background within Residential Aged Care environments.
The Role
Working closely with senior governance and operational leaders, you will oversee service‐level quality assurance activities, support site leadership teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives across multiple aged care homes.
You will play a key role in strengthening governance frameworks, supporting audits and accreditation outcomes, coaching operational leaders and ensuring high standards of resident‐centred care are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across Residential Aged Care services
* Support homes with accreditation readiness, audits, incident management and compliance outcomes
* Monitor and analyse quality indicators, trends, incidents and audit findings to identify improvement opportunities
* Coach and mentor operational and clinical leaders to strengthen capability and accountability
* Support governance, risk management and escalation processes across services
* Drive evidence‐based improvements focused on resident safety, experience and care outcomes
* Partner with operational teams to embed best practice clinical governance frameworks
* Support investigations, complaint management and regulatory responses where required
* Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the organisation
About You
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a management or senior leadership role
* Minimum 2–3 years' experience within senior quality, compliance or governance focused positions
* Minimum 3 years' experience within clinical leadership roles
* Strong people management and coaching capability
* Current or recent experience working within Residential Aged Care
* Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation and clinical governance frameworks
* Experience leading audits, investigations, incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and analytical skills
* Ability to support teams through change, operational pressures and quality improvement activity
