Logistics Coordinator - Melbourne Park
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator at Melbourne Park.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the security and safety of the Central Logistics Hub (CLH) within Melbourne Park. They will drive operational innovation and improvements that model the organisation's values of collaboration, integrity, open-mindedness, and passion.
The role involves providing high-level customer service to clients and contractors while ensuring the security and safety of the CLH are always upheld. You will work in partnership with our clients, business partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient management of the CLH through approved access and facilitation of deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee access control into the CLH through M&OPs Delivery Booking System
* Ensure the integrity of CLH security is always maintained
* OH&S oversight, dealing with any issues that develop, ensuring correct management notification procedures are followed
* Monitor the behavior and performance of contractors, hirers, and staff in the loading bay area, ensuring appropriate PPE is worn and behavior is in line with good H&S practices
Operational Support:
* Maintain the Tracka Key Management System by auditing current users and associated key sets, addition of new users, and removal of old users who no longer require access
* Operational Support - provide assistance with the installation of or removal of infrastructure related to the Security Overlay for the Precinct
* Management of Precinct Operations stores and keeping accurate records of items contained within, including but not limited to PPE, spare parts for CCTV and Access Control etc.
Australian Open Precinct Operations Support Role:
* Assist with auditing additional security overlay for the Australian Open
* Checking of all Hostile Vehicle Mitigation infrastructure on site to ensure it's being deployed correctly by Contract Security Staff
* Provide support to both Precinct Security Managers during the AO through the completion of delegated tasks
* Changeover of infrastructure and signage at the carpark for wayfinding purposes prior to and at the completion of the AO
Requirements:
* Previous experience in operations, logistics, warehouse, or loading dock services
* Experience with delivery management systems
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
* Previous security control room experience
* Proven customer service and written/verbal communication skills
* Ability to effectively handle and resolve customer(client) requirements
