Diabetes Educator Opportunity in Remote NT
This role presents a unique chance to deliver expert diabetes education and care in remote Northern Territory communities. As a Diabetes Educator, you will travel weekly to various locations, working closely with primary health teams to support diabetes and vascular disease management.
The ideal candidate will possess postgraduate qualifications in diabetes education, be eligible for credentialing with ADEA, and hold a registered nursing qualification. They must also have a manual driver's license and be comfortable with remote travel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality diabetes education and care to patients
* Work collaboratively with primary health teams to develop and implement effective management plans
* Travel regularly to remote locations, building capacity and improving health outcomes
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Postgraduate qualification in diabetes education
* Eligible for credentialing with ADEA
* Registered nurse with AHPRA or eligible
* Manual driver's license
