About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a systems engineer to contribute to government's mission success through analysis, thought leadership, and proactive action on space protection activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough analysis of current and emerging threats to develop effective mitigation tactics, techniques, and procedures.
* Collaborate with internal and external entities for site and mission inspections, report findings, and provide recommendations to improve space protection architectures and capabilities.
* Assess and evaluate war games and exercises to capture lessons learned for best practice implementation to improve space protection efforts.
* Develop solutions for broad topics, capture risk and issues, and provide analysis and recommendations to support Weapons and Tactics teams.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of satellite operations, orbital mechanics, and data management/data visualization skills.
They will be a self-starter with impeccable interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with stakeholders, and superior communication skills.
