Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our production team at the Traralgon Plant in Gippsland. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient production process.
The primary objective of this role is to operate and maintain various types of plant and equipment, including vertical kilns and roller milling circuits, to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating and maintaining plant and equipment, including routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting.
* Ensuring the plant operates safely and in line with production schedules, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
* Installing and repairing fixed and mobile plant and equipment machinery, as required.
* Loading trucks and collecting product samples for quality assurance purposes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A qualification in Engineering, Mechanical Fitting, or Diesel fitting, or other trade background with good mechanical aptitude.
* Previous experience in fixed plant production, industrial manufacturing environments, and Forklift operation.
* Computer literacy and attention to detail, with ability to learn new software applications quickly.
