MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST & ADMIN ASSISTANT

POSITION DESCRIPTION
* Ensure all patient accounts are billed efficiently and accurately and then lodged with the relevant body for payment.
* Batch and lodge Medicare and DVA accounts online.
* Manage all Workers Compensation and third party accounts.
* Ensure patient information is accurate including billing information
* Liaise with doctors and nurses
* Maintain and manage patient records
* Schedule patient appointments
* Answer incoming calls and deal with enquiries
* Complete any emailing, photocopying, data entry as required
* Manage outgoing and incoming of patient records
* Ensure waiting areas are kept clean and tidy
* Ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean
Must demonstrate the following:
* Excellent verbal, analytical and organisational skills
* Excellent presentation and telephone skillset
* Ability to work unsupervised as well as within a team
* Have a can do attitude
* Good time management skills
* Be punctual
