The Role:

* We are seeking an experienced Performing Rights Assistant to join our office team.

As a key member of the Licensing Department, you will play a vital role in licensing our plays and musicals for performance by amateur theatre companies, schools, youth-theatre groups and others. You will work closely with our Licensing Manager and Managing Director to ensure that all aspects of the licensing process are handled efficiently and effectively.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Receiving and responding to customer enquiries for amateur performing rights, via telephone and email
">
* Looking after key stages of the licensing process, including drawing up invoices, issuing licences and other administrative duties
">

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, has excellent communication skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. If you have relevant experience in administration or customer service, and are passionate about theatre and music, we would love to hear from you.

The Successful Candidate:

* Will be focused with an excellent attention to detail

* Will be comfortable with speaking with customers over the phone, email and in person

* Will be computer-literate and confident at learning new software

* Will be very organized and competent in organizing their own tasks

Job Details:

* Full-time, permanent position
">
* Salary: From $50,000 + super per annum, payable fortnightly
">
* Hours: 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., including a 30-minute lunch break, Monday to Friday

* Trial Period: Three-month trial period
">
* Notice: One month during trial period, two months thereafter
