What You'll Do
We're looking for a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our Epic Pharmacy team at St. Vincent's Private Hospital Lismore on a casual basis. This is an exciting opportunity to further diversify your pharmacy career and gain unique skills working in specialised areas such as surgical, rehabilitation, geriatrics, infectious diseases, oncology and more. Responsibilities
Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.
Manage and monitor Imprest stock.
Conduct regular stocktake.
Delivery of medications to hospital wards.
Process sales transactions and assist with account queries.
Ensure patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication.
Provide support to patients, carers, and hospital staff.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings strong attention to detail, valuable communication skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. While hospital pharmacy experience is highly valued, it's not essential as full training will be provided to aid your transition into this new space. However, previous experience in pharmacy dispensing is required to ensure a confident start in the role.
Eligibility Requirements
Australian working rights, valid for at least 12 months from the date of employment
Dispensing experience in an Australian Pharmacy
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience in hospital pharmacy.
Familiarity with Fred Dispense software.
