Responsibilities

You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

* preparation and drafting of court documents/correspondence;
* diary management;
* brief preparation;
* monthly billing;
* opening/closing files;
* executive/ personal assistant duties as required;
* assisting lawyers as necessary; and
* general secretarial and administrative tasks.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have:

* 1-2 years + recent experience as a legal assistant/secretary/admin assistant;
* billing experience desirable;
* exceptional organisational skills; and
* a meticulous eye for detail and accurate proof reading skills.

In addition, you will:

* have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
* ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively to work within tight time frames;
* enthusiastic, committed and proactive approach to work;
* a commitment to a career in legal support; and
* ability to work autonomously and within a team.
